A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE SALE OF CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner in fee title of
that certain strip of land, two feet wide, located adjacent to the
north side of Ball Road, east of Sunkist Street; and
WHEREAS, said strip is of no present or prospective use
to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has received an offer to
purchase said strip from Norbert Waters, the owner of the adjacent
property and sole prospective purchaser; and
WHEREAS, Norbert Waters has offered to pay the sum of
$900.00 for the strip of land which is the appraised value of the
property; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to accept the offer to purchase the strip of land.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that:
1. The offer of Norbert Waters to purchase said strip of
land be, and it is hereby, accepted.
2. The Mz,yor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby,
authorized and directed to execute a grant deed to convey said
property to Norbert Waters upon receipt of $900.00.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of June, 1985.
