1985-270RESOLUTION N0. 85R- 2 ~ ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM WHICH ESTABLISHES RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES ASSIGNED TO THE GENERAL CITY EMPLOYEES UNIT REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION. WHEREAS, the need exists to create the classifications of Communications Technician II, Emergency Services Representative, Lead Computer Operator, Maintenance Inspector, Police Services Representative, Telecommunications Technician, Traffic Control Supervisor, and Transportation Event Coordinator; and WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has determined that the new classifications be assigned to the General City Employees Unit represented by the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the creation of these classifications is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim as follows: 1. That, effective June 28, 1985, the basic compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master. That, effective June 28, 1985, the salary relationships for these classifications shall be as follows: Communications Technician II Emergency Services Representative Lead Computer Operator Maintenance Inspector Police Services Representative Telecommunications Technician Traffic Control Supervisor Transportation Event Coordinator 1.05 X Communications Technician - Telephone .937 X Jailer 1.271 X Computer Operator .865 X Building Inspector .937 X Jailer .936 X Programmer .578 X Building Inspector 1.00 X Civil Engineering Assistant BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding, dated February 10, 1984, between the City of Anaheim and the General City Employees Unit of the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association apply to the foregoing classification.
