A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING A MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION
FOR THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY FROM THE CITY OF FULLERTON TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATED AS ORANGE COUNTY
MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION NO. 69.
WHEREAS, a resolution for a proposed municipal
reorganization designated Orange County Municipal Reorganization
No. 69 (transfer of territory from the City of Fullerton to the
City of Anaheim) was heretofore filed by the City of Anaheim and
accepted for filing on October 3, 1984, by the Executive Officer
of the Local Agency Formation Commission ("Commission") pursuant
to part 2 of Title 4, Division 2, commencing with Section 35000 et
seq. of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Commission,
pursuant to Government Code Section 35152 set December 5, 1984, as
the hearing date of said proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Officer of the Commission,
pursuant to Government Code Section 54794 reviewed said proposal
and prepared a report including his recommendation thereon, and
furnished a copy of said report to each person entitled to a copy;
and
WHEREAS, said resolution was accompanied by proof
satisfactory to the Commission that all of the owners of land
within the territory proposed to be reorganized have given their
signed consent to such reorganization; and
WHEREAS, said Commission on December 5, 1984, considered
the proposal and report of the Executive Officer, and considered
the factors determined by the Commission to be relevant to said
proposal including, but not limited to, factors specified in
Government Code Section 54796; and
WHEREAS, said Commission has reviewed and considered the
negative declaration issued by the City of Anaheim, as lead
agency, on the underlying activity; and
WHEREAS, said Commission adopted its Resolution No. 84-87
on December 5, 1984, making certain determinations and authorizing
the City of Anaheim, as the conducting authority, to reorganize
said territory without notice and hearing and without election
pursuant to Section 35151 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Orange County Municipal Reorganization No. 69
(Transfer of Territory from the City of Fullerton to the City of
Anaheim) for that certain territory within the City of Fullerton,
County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described
as follows:
That certain parcel of land located in the City of
Fullerton, County of Orange, State of California; more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary
line of the City of Anaheim, said angle point being
the intersection of the centerline of Raleigh Street
with the intersection of the Westerly terminus of that
certain course described as "S. 80° 06' 00" E., 196.40
feet" as shown on Reorganization No. 68" to the City
of Anaheim; thence Northerly along the existing
boundary line of the City of Anaheim and the City of
Fullerton as created by the "Miles Rancho Annexation"
to the City of Anaheim N. 0° 26' 42" E., 483.80 feet
to the Southeast corner of the "Swan Transfer of
Territory from the City of Anaheim to the City of
Fullerton;" thence leaving said boundary line of the
City of Anaheim N. 84° 17' 18" E., 232.92 along the
Easterly extension of the Southerly boundary line of
said "Swan Transfer" to a point on the Northerly right
of way line of the Riverside Freeway as shown on
Official Records 4320/31; in the Office of said County
Recorder; thence N. 89° 37' 25" E., 398.42 feet along
said right of way line to the Southwest corner of
Tract 8027 as shown on the map filed in Book 320,
pages 31 and 32 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of said County Recorder; thence along the Southerly
boundary line of said Tract 8027 and its Easterly
prolongation; N. 88° 11' 09" E., 531.48 feet; S. 88°
36' 49" E., 419.36 feet; S. 89° 36' 00" E., 109.78
feet to a point on the Easterly right of way line of
Lemon Street; thence along the existing boundary line
of the City of Anaheim as created by "Acacia Street
Annexation," "South Spadra Annexation" to the City of
Anaheim and said "Reorganization No. 68" through its
various courses in a Southerly, Southwesterly,
Southerly, Westerly, Northerly, Westerly and
Northwesterly direction to the Point of Beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 17.733
acres, more or less,
be, and the same is hereby, approved and ordered without notice
and hearing and without election pursuant to the authority of
Section 35312 of the Government Code.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim shall immediately transmit a certified copy of this
resolution along with a remittance to cover the fees required by
Section 54902.5 of the Government Code to the Executive Director
of the Local Agency Formation Commission.

City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of July, 1985.
