A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A
LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM POLICE ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, on January 31, 1984 the City Council adopted Resolution
84R-49 which approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association, and
WHEREAS, the City Management Representative has met and conferred
with the Anaheim Police Association on an interpretation of Article 59.5 of
the Memorandum of Understanding to properly reflect the intent of the parties,
and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, a Letter of Understanding dated June
18, 1985 setting forth a new interpretation of Article 59.5 of the Memorandum
of Understanding has been agreed to by the parties, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
approval of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interests of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated June 18, 1985 between the City
of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association is hereby approved.
