1985-314RESOLUTION NO. 85R-314 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED EAST OF KNOLLWOOD CIRCLE AND NORTH OF WOODLAND DRIVE, ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA. (84-18A) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law; and WHEREAS, on the 16th day of July, 1985, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation facilities. WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place public utility facilities in use for which easements are not reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that no easements be reserved for such facilities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that public utility easement, more specifically described as follows: That certain public utility easement granted to the City of Anaheim by Dunn Business Parks, located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California as recorded in Book 11576 pages 376 through 378 on November 21, 1975, official records of said Orange County to be abandoned described as follows: A public utility easement for the installation and maintenance~of underground electrical conduit and related electrical facilities as shown on a map attached hereto and made a part hereof, under and across a strip of land 8 feet wide, unless otherwise -1- indicated on said map, lying within a portion of Parcels 26, 27, 28 and 29 as shown on a map filed in Book 71, page 11 of Parcel Maps in the office of the County Recorder, said County being a subdivision of Lots 1 through 26, Tract 8660 per map thereof recorded in Book 349, pages 24 to 30 inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County and portions of Woodland Drive and Knollwood Circle abandoned by City Council Resolution No. 75R-375 recorded in Book 11467, page 194, records of Orange County, California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange.
