A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #3500-7)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of MARIN FINANCIAL CORPORATION
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 1 of
Original Town Lots of Anahein, per map thereof
recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
Records of Los Angeles County, California described
as follows:
Beginning at the Southwest corner of said Lot 1;
thence North 74° 15' 00" East along the South line of
Lot 1 a distance of 118.00 to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING: said POINT lying 47.00 feet Westerly of
the centerline of Anaheim Boulevard; thence, North
15° 30' 00" West along a line parallel and 47.00 feet
Westerly of said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard a
distance of 166.50 feet to the beginning of a tangent
curve concave Southerly having a radius of 15.00
feet; thence Northwesterly along said curve thru a
central angle of 90° 00' 00" an arc distance of 23.56
feet to a point on the South line of Sycamore Street
(49.50 feet wide); thence North 74° 15' 00" East
along said South line a distance of 27.25 feet to the
Southwest corner of Anaheim Boulevard (69.50 feet
wide) and said Sycamore Street; thence along the West
line of said Anaheim Boulevard, South 15° 30' 00"
West a distance of 181.50 feet to a point in the
South line of said Lot 1; thence South 74° 15' 00"
West along said South line 12.25 feet to the TRUE
POINT OF BEGINNING,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General
Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
46-792-7101-E2747 the sum of Twenty-Seven Thousand One Hundred
Dollars ($27,100.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of July, 1985.
