't-1HE:F:El\.S, the City of Anahetffi has agreed to purchase
certain portions of the water system of Southern California
vJater Company situated within the corporate limits of the City,
and
v'iHEP:EAS, the City ana the fouthern California vJater
Company have reduced their agreement to writing, subject only,
insofar as the Water Company is conc~rned, to certain approvals
of the Public utilities Cmrumission of the State of California;
and
v!HEP.EAS 1 ti1e City Council finds that it is in the
best interests of the City of 1\nahei:(n to enter into such agree-
ment with the Southern California Water Company and to cooperate
to the extent of furnishing Southern California Water Company
with certifications of certain water rate resolutions to be
used by the Water Company as exhibits to its application to the
said Public Utilities Commission.
IW\i'I, 'l'HEEEFOH.E r BE IT PESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Eayor and City Clerk be, and they
are hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
City of Anaheilu, that certain agreement with Southern California
\~.ater Company concerning itself with the purchase of a portion
of said company's water system lying within the City Limits of
the City of L1l.aheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
She is hereby authorized and directed to certify to the truth
and correctness of the excerpts from Resolution No. 64R-2l4, as
revised, and of the Rules and Regulations of the Anaheim City
'/Jater Department, all as set forth a:s :Cxhibi t "E,!1 pages 1
throug.h 5, as the same is made a part of Southern California
('Jater Company' s ~~pplication before the Public utilities Conunis-
sion of the State of California.
