A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 97R -101 WHICH ESTABLISHED
RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR NON - REPRESENTED
PART -TIME JOB CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff report
dated November 28, 2006, that Resolution No. 97R -101 be amended in the manner hereinafter
set forth effective November 19 2004; and
WHEREAS as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution No. 97R -101
which established rates of compensation for job classifications designated as Non - Represented
Part-Time; and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that amending
Resolution No. 97R -101 is in the best interest of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFOR BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Section 9 be added to Resolution No. 97R -101 to read as follows:
" Section 9.
Effective December 1, 2006, employees in the classifications of Community
Preservation Officer I, Community Preservation Officer II and Senior Community Preservation
Officer hired on a part-time basis who maintain a Basic P.O.S.T. certification in good standing
shall receive $0.24 per hour for each hour worked on a biweekly basis in addition to their regular
hourly rate of pay. Part-Time employees in these classifications who possess an Advanced
P.O.S.T. certification in good standing shall receive $0.48 per hour for each hour worked on a
biweekly basis in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay.
Probationary employees are not eligible for P.O.S.T. certification pay."
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of said amendment to
Resolution No. 97R -101 is December 1, 2006.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as amended herein Resolution
No. 97R -101 shall remain in full force and effect.
