A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE CLOSURE TO THROUGH
TRAFFIC OF CYPRESS STREET AT EVELYN DRIVE TO
THROUGH TRAFFIC.
WHEREAS, the properties along Coffman Street north of
Lincoln Avenue are being developed with multiple-family
residential structures; and
WHEREAS, Cypress Street extends from the Coffman Street
area into an existing single-family residential located to the
west; and
WHEREAS, increased traffic from the Coffman Street area
into the single-family area to the west would be detrimental to
the existing single-family area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby authorize the closure of Cypress
Street to through traffic by the installation of appropriate
street modified cul-de-sacs and traffic barrier on Cypress
Street at its intersection with Evelyn Drive.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted this
6th day of August, 1985.
