A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE
REFURBISHMENT OF THE IRRIGATION PUMPING
SYSTEM AT "DAD" MILLER GOLF COURSE IN THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation,
published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, to wit: The
Anaheim Bulletin, on the 1st and 8th days of August, 1985, a
notice inviting sealed proposals for furnishing the following:
Refurbishment of the irrigation pumping system at the
"Dad" Miller Golf Course, in the City of Anaheim,
including, but not limited to, the removal of existing
pumping equipment, tanks and strainer; provision of
temporary pumping equipment; upgrading of pumping,
electrical and control equipment; provision of new
jockey pump, control relief valves; completion of all
installation and tests and removal of temporary
equipment. All work shall be done in accordance with
the plans and specifications on file in the off~.ce of
the City Engineer, Account No. 24-312-7103
in accordance with the design, plans, profiles and specifications
of said public improvement on file in the Office of the City Clerk
of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS; the bids received on this project were in excess
of the amount budgeted by the Golf Course Division; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended that the City
Council reject all bi~?s.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of .Anaheim that all bids received in connection with the
above described project be, and they are hereby, rejected.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of September,
1985.
