A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, APPROVING THE TERMS AND
CONDITIONS OF A SUPPLEMENT TO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID SUPPLEMENT.
(SUPPLEMENT NO. 26 TO LOCAL AGENCY-STATE
AGREEMENT NO. 07-5055, LOARA STREET
CROSSING)
WHEREAS, Southern Pacific Railroad crossing protection at
Loara Street is to be upgraded from the existing warning sign and
crossbucks to automatic gates with flashing lights ("the
Project"); and
WHEREAS, Supplement No. 26 to Local Agency-State
Agreement No. 07-5055 (hereinafter "Supplement") has been prepared
whereby Federal-Aid Safety Funds are authorized to pay 90~ of the
Project and the City of Anaheim will provide 10~ matching funds;
and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of Supplement No. 26
are acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Supplement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute said Supplement on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted this lst
day of October 1985.
