A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS,
LOCAL UNION N0. 47
WHEREAS, on February 14, 1984 the City Council approved Resolution
No. 84-72 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Anaheim
and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47;
and
WHEREAS, a clerical classification study was conducted and
recommended adjusting the salary relationships and wage rates for some
classifications listed in Appendix "A" of the Memorandum of Understanding; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director met and conferred with
officials and employee representatives of the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers, Local Union No. 47 to discuss salary relationship and wage
rate changes; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated September 18, 1985 between
the parties has been prepared and signed amending provisions of the current
Memorandum of Understanding effective October 4, 1985; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interest of the City
of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated September 18, 1985 between the
City of Anaheim and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local
Union No. 47 is hereby approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 1 st day of October , 19 8 5 .
