A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROP-
ERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #3500-11)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of WILLIAM C. TAORMINA AND
CYNTHIA L. TAORMINA to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility purposes, and more particularly described
as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the following:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Westerly
10,00 feet of Lot 54, Block "E", Heimann and George's
Map of Addition Building lots, per map thereof
recorded in Book 2, page 249, Miscellaneous Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California, said
corner also being the Southeast corner of Adele
Street (52,50 feet wide) and Anaheim Boulevard (69.50
feet wide); thence South 74° 30' 00" East along the
South line of said Adele Street a distance of 27.25
feet to a point of cusp with a tangent curve concave
Southeasterly having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Southerly along said curve through a central angle of
90° 00' 00" an arc distance of 23,56 feet to a
tangent line parallel and 47.00 feet Easterly of the
..~.,. centerline of said Anaheim Boulevard; thence South
15° 30' 00" East along said parallel line a distance
of 119,71 feet to a point on the North line of the
Southerly 3.50 inches of lot 56, of said Block "E",
Heimann and George's Map of Addition Building lots;
thence South 74° 30' 00" West along said North line
of the Southerly 3.50 inches, a distance of 17,25
feet to the East line of the Westerly 10.00 feet of
said Lot 56, Block "E"; thence North 15° 30' 00" West
along said East line and the Northerly prolongation
thereof a distance of 134.71 feet to the Point of
Beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be
construed to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the
City street system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of
the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a
warrant and pay to the owners of said real property, out of
General Funds of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No.
12-792-7101-E2740 the sum of Forty-Two Thousand One Hundred
Dollars ($42,100.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of December, 1985.
