92-080 RESOLUTION NO. 92R-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM EXPRESSING
SUPPORT FOR SEISMIC RETROFIT OF THE
TUSTIN AVENUE BRIDGE CROSSING THE
SANTA ANA RIVER AND SUPPORTING THE
GRANT APPLICATION FOR THE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has submitted a grant
application for the seismic retrofit of the Tustin Avenue Bridge
crossing the Santa Ana River; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim supports regional
coordination of transportation programs; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to apply Measure M
funds for transportation maintenance and improvement projects;
and
WHEREAS, the Tustin Avenue Bridge crossing the Santa
Ana River is located wholly or partially within the City of
Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, funds are available for the seismic retrofit
of the Tustin Avenue Bridge crossing the Santa Ana River.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby express its support for the
seismic retrofit of the Tustin Avenue Bridge crossing the Santa
Ana River and the grant application for the project.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 28thday of April, 1992.
