A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REVISING THE
ANIMAL REGULATION FEES PREVIOUSLY
ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 90R-
224.
WHEREAS, on June 26, 1990, the City Council of the City
of Anaheim adopted Resolution No. 90R-224 establishing fees for
animal regulation pursuant to Chapter 8.08 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the fees set forth therein for circuses and
rodeos may be reduced witChout resulting in a net cost to the
City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to reduce the fees
for circuses and rodeos to the minimum amount which will
reimburse the City for costs incurred in implementing the
regulations pertaining thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
Fees to be charged by the License Collector in
connection with animal regulation shall be as follows:
A. Dog License -- $ 22.00/year
Neutered -- $ 11.00/year
B. Senior Citizen Dog License $ 11.00/year
Senior Citizen Neutered Dog
License -- $ 5.50/year
C. Delinquent Fee: -- $ 15.00
D. Replacement Tag Fee:
Dog -- $ 5.00
Cat -- $ 5.00
E. Cat Voluntary Registration
Certificates -- $25.00/five years
F. Commercial Establishments
1. Breeding or Boarding Kennel:
a. 4 - 9 animals -- $ 80.00/year
b. 10 - 29 animals -- $120.00/year
c. 30 59 animals -- $160.00/year
d. 60 - or more -- $210.00/year
2. Cattery/Kennel -- $150.00/year
3. Commercial Aviary -- $100.00/year
4. Pet Shop -- $100.00/year
5. Grooming Parlor -- $100.00/year
6. Commercial Stable/Riding Academy:
a. 1 - 9 animals -- $ 80.00/year
b. 10 - 29 animals -- $120.00/year
c. 30 - 59 animals -- $160.00/year
d. 60 - plus animals -- $200.00/year
7. Pony Ride -- $100.00/year
8. Guard Dogs/Sentry Dog
Service -- $ 50.00/year
9. Zoo -- $300.00/year
10. Animal Menagerie -- $300.00/year
(exotic animals kept
or maintained)
11. Rodeo -- $150.00/first day
(Fees shall commence on -- $100.00 each day
the first day animals day thereafter
are present within city
limits)
12. Circus -- $150.00 first day
(Fees shall commence on $100.00 each day
the first day animals are thereafter
present in city limits)
13. Pet Show:
50 animals -- $ 25.00
51 - 100 animals -- $ 50.00
over 100 animals -- $ 75.00
14. Miscellaneous Animal Reptile Establishment:
Permanent -- $100.00/year
Temporary -- $ 50.00
15. Exhibition of Animals -- $175.00
(Permanent)

$50.00 first day
$30.00 each day thereafter
(not to exceed $260.00 per year)
17. Private Kennel/
Aviary/Stable -- $ 50.00/year
BE IT F~THER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall
supersede Resolution No. 90R-224.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 21st day of
