A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINIiNG THAT PUBLIC CON-.
VENIENCE ~D NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:
THE I~WROVEMENT OF BROOKHURS~ STREET, FROM
APPROXIMATELY 750 FEET SOUTH iOF BALL ROAD TO

APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS, PROFILES, DRAWINGS
AND SPECIF~CATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF;
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC IM-
PROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, public convenience .nd necessity require the
construction and completion of a public improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
The improvement of Brook.llUrst Street, from approxi-
mately 750 feet south of Ball Road to approxima'tely
1100 feet south tli.ereof, in the City of Anaheim,
consisting of exc&vation, construction of asphalt
concrete pavement over aggregate ~ase, P.C.C. cur~
and gutter; installation of six-inch V.C.P. sewer
laterals and paddleboards~ relocation of chain link
fence; adjustment of sewer i'lianhole to grade; modi-
fication of seVier manilOle, and appurtenant work as
more yar-ticular1y set forti; in .the plans and speci-
fications on file in the Office of .the City Clerk or
City Engineer, Job No. 113.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council instructed thi ~ui,ic
Works Droar~ent to prepare detal e Sl9ft.,
plans, profi es, rawings and specifications, and estimate. of
quantities and costs and make necessary surveys for the con-
struction of said public improvement; and

WHEREAS, said public Works ijeparcraent has
prepared said detailed designs, plans, profile., drawings and
specifications for the construction of said public improvement
and has submitted the same to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the detailed
designs, plans, profiles, drawings and specifications for said
public improvement above mentioned, are in accordance with good
engineering practice and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the City of Anaheim and the citizens and
