A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COuNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT PUBLIC CON-.
VENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIRE THE CONSTRUCTION
AND COMPLETION OF A PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT:
THE lvIILLER STREET SEWER U1PRdVEMENT, FROM APPROX-
I1YlATELY 1000 FEET NORTH OF r.4 PALMA AVENUE TO
APPROXI~ffiTELY 6 FEET NORTH TijEREOF. IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM. JOB NO. 1207.
APPROVING THE DESIGNS, PLANS~ PROFILES, DRAWINGS
AND SPECIFlCATIONS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF;
AUTHORIZING THE CONSTRUCTION OF SAID PUBLIC IM-
PROVEMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAID PLANS, SPECI-
FICATIONS, ETC.; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH A NOTICE INVITING
SEALED PROPOSALS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, public convenience and necessity require the
construction and completion of a public improvement in the City
of Anaheim, to wit:
The lvliller Street Sewer Improvement, consisting of the
construction of an 8-inch V.C.P. $ewer line, including
required fittings, in Miller Street, from approximately
1000 feet north of La Palma Avenue to approximately 6
feet north thereof, in the City of Anaheim construction
of 4-foot LD. manholes; resurfacing with 4-inch A.C.
over weed killer, removal and replacement of P.C.C. side-
walk, curb and gutter and cross gmtter, and appurtenant
work as more particularly set forth in the plans and
specifications on file in the Office of the City Clerk
or City Engineer, Job No. 1207.
AND WHEREAS, the City Counci~ instructed the Public
Works DePtrtrnent tb prepare detailed designs,
plans, pro iles, drawings and specific!ations, and estimates of
quantities and costs and make necessar~ surveys for the con-
struction of said public improvement; and
WHEREAS, said Public Works Department has
prepared said detailed designs, plans, profiles, drawings and
specifications for the construction o~ said public improvement
and has submitted the same to the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council f~nds that the detailed
designs, plans, profiles, drawings anq specifications for said
public improvement above mentioned, a~e in accordance with good
engineering practice and are adequate to serve the needs and
requirements of the City of Anaheim and the citizens and
