RESOLUTION NO. 82R-6
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANMiEIM APPROVING Al~ AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PL/u'l DESIGNATED AS
AMENDMENT NO. 172, EXHIBIT "B", SUBJECT TO THE
APPROVAL OF THE THIRD AMENDMENT TO REDEVELOP-
~lliNT PLAN ALPHA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recom-
mendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of November, 1981, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 3.1 acres bounded on
the north by Cypress Street, south by Lincoln Avenue, east by
an alley and Helena Street, and west by Harbor Boulevard; and
\VHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC8d-246 containing
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 172 be adopted by the
City Council, changing the land use designation for the afore-
described area to "Commercial Professional" in accordance with
Exhibit "B"; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 5th day of
January, 1982, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 172 and did give notice thereof in the manner and
as provided by law; and
\1HEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct
such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein
an opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports
and did consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 172 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "B" on file with
the City should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 172 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"Commercial Professional" in accordance with Exhibit "B" on file
with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved, subject to
the approval of the Third Amendment to Redevelopment Plan Alpha.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 172 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of January,
1982.
