A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMEND~NT TO THE
CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 174, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the recommenda-
tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, has here-
tofore adopted a General Plan for the C~ty of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 14th day of D~cember, 1981, the City
Planning Commission did hold a public h~aring to consider a
General Plan Amendment to the Circulati~n Element to delete that
portion of Convention Way extending easterly from West Street
approximately 1180 feet as a Major Arterlial Highway on the
Circulation Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, at said public heari~g, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC8l-265 containing
a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
said hearing and a recommendation that $aid Amendment to the
General Plan designated as Amendment No. 174 be approved by the
City Council changing the Circulation Element in the manner here-
inabove set forth; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recomm~ndations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council dtd fix the 26th day of
January, 1982, as the time, and the City Council Chambers as the
place for a public hearing on said propasedAmendment No. 174
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law:
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 174, changing the Circulation Element in the manner
hereinabove described, should be approved in accordance with
Exhibit "A."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 174 to the General Plan
changing the Circulation Element to delete that portion of
Convention Way extending easterly from Wiest Street approximately
l180 feet as a Major Arterial Highway on the Circulation Element
of the General Plan in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City Planning Department.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning Department
be, and the same is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan
Map, and said text to conform to General Plan Amendment No. 174
as herein adopted and approved.
