A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING AMENDED GUIDELINES AND
PROCEDURES FOR THE EVALUATION OF PROJECTS AND
THE PREPARATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORTS
AND NEGATIVE DECLARATIONS PURSUANT TO THE
CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT.
WHEREAS, Section 21082 of the Public Resources Cod~
requires all public agencies to adopt objectives, criteria and
procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of
environmental impact reports and negauive declarations pursuant
to the California Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
hereto adopted Resolution No. 73R-137 on April 10, 1973, establish-
ing such objectives, criteria and procedures by local guidelines;
and
WHEREAS, said guidelines have been subsequently amended
by the City Council from time to time; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Department has prepared
additional amendments to said guidelines which have been app~oved
by the City Attorney's Office and other City departments affiected
thereby.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the amended Guidelines for Environmental
Impact Reports this day submitted and on file in the Office of the
City Clerk Be, and the same are hereby, approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted 'by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day February,
1982.
