A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAhEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/W #2800-56)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of A~aheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ELIZABETH SINGLETON to sell to the
City of Anaheim the following described real property situatep in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and pUblic utility purposes over,
under and across the westerly 12.25 feet of Lot 3, in
Block 1 of Tract No. 221, as shown on a map recorded
in Book 13, page 4, Miscellaneous Maps, records of
said Orange County,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of t~e City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance ~f said
propertyr provided, however, that nothing herein shall be con$trued
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City s~reet
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a w~rrant
and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. l3-792-7101-E2580
the sum of Four Thousand Six Hundred and Dollars ($4,600.00).
