A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A FORMER. SOUTHERN
CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY PUIBLIC UTILITY EASE-
MENT LOCATED WEST OF DALE AVENUE AND SOUTH
OF LINCOLN AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate cer-
tain public streets, highways or publip service easements pursuant
to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Lawr
and
WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by lawr
and
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of february, 1982, a public
hearing was held to allow interested p~rsons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacationr and
WHEREAS, the City Council do~s find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described is ~nnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for w~ich easements are not re-
served and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order uhe vacation of that certain
easement for electrical utility purposas, more specifically described
as follows:

That certain easement as granted qy Iva B. Bay to the
Southern California Edison Company for electrical
utility purposes to construct, use, maintain, alter,
add to, repair, replace and/or remove in and over that
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, an electric line,
consisting of poles, necessary guys and anchors, cross-
arms, wires and other fixtures and appliances for con-
veying electric energy to be used .for light, heat,
power, telephone and/or other purposes as recorded

in Book 1913, page 525, in the Office of County recorder
of said Orange County located within a portion of the
South 3 acres of the East 13 acres of the North 18 acres
of the East 30 acres of the Northeast quarter of the
Northwest quarter of Section 13, Township 4 South, Range
11 West, S.B.B. & M. EXCEPTING THEREFROM the North 124
feet of the North 350 feet thereof, more particularly de-
scribed as follows:
All poles shall be erected and maintained within one foot
of the following described line:
Beginning at a point in the Easte~ly line of said property,
distant 70 feet Southerly measured thereon from the North-
erly line thereof~ thence Westerly parallel to said North-
erly line 200 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this
resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this reso-
lution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is
hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this
resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County
of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of F ary, 1982.
