A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM C~RTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R/w #2800-20 AND #2800-21)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
rnunicipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV$D by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of LOWEN V. CASEY, LOUISE E. CASEY
and LEE COMBS to sell to the City of A~aheim the following described
real property situated in the City of ~aheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of IIIDreyfus and Others"
land, as shown on a map by William Hamel, filed for
record in Los Angeles County, a cqpy of which is shown
on pages 163 and following in BooK: 3, entitled "Los
Angeles County Maps", records of s,aid Orange County,
lying easterly of the following d~scribed line:

Beginning at a point in the northe~ly line of Lot 1 of
Tract No. 1194, as shown on a map recorded in Book 38,
pages 1 and 2, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange
County, said point being S 740 22' 45" W, 7.00 feet from
the northeasterly corner of said Lot Ii thence N 150 361
55" W, 245.99 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave southwesterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet;
thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve through a
central angle of 900 00' 20", an arc distance of 23.56
feet; thence N 150 37' 15" W, 2.00 feet to the point of
terminus of said line; AND

An easernent for road and pUblic utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of L~t 1 of Tract No. 1194,
as shown on a map recorded in Book 38, pages 1 and 2,
Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County, lying
easterly of the fOllowing described line:

Commencing at the northeast corner of said Lot 1;
thence S 740 22' 45" W along the northerly line of
said Lot 1, 7.00 feet to the true point of beginning;
thence S 150 361 55" E, 86.51 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave northwesterly and having
a radius of 15.00 feet; thence So~therly and Westerly
along said curve through a central angle of 890 58'
58", an arc distance of 23.56 feet. to a point in the
southerly line of said Lot 1, said point being N 740
22' 03" E, 35.00 feet frorn the southwesterly corner
of said Lot I, said point also being the point of ter-
minus of said described line,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anahe~m accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that noth~ng herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or p~operty into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Abcount No. 13-792-7l0l-E2580,
the sum of Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Forty Dollars ($15,840.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of March, 1982.
