1982-115 RESOLUTION NO. 82R-115 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PORTION OF AN EXISTING SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT LOCA']ED AT THE NORTH- EAST CORNER OF ANAHEIM BOULEVARD AND CHARTRES STREET. - WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did, by resolution duly adopted, declare its intention to vacate certain public streets, highways or public service easements pursuant to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law; and WHEREAS, notice of a public hearing to consider said vaca- tion was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law: and WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of Ma~ch, 1982, a public hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning said proposed vacation; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation facilities. WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place public utility facilities in use for which easements are not reserved and excepted by this resolution, the City Cpuncil hereby determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that no easements be reserved for such facilities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain sanitary sewer easement more specifically described as follows: That portion of the existing sanitary sewer easements 7 feet wide located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as described in deed re- corded December l2, 19l0 in Book 1~5, pages 4 and 19 of deeds, records of Orange County, California, described as follows: - The easterly 7 feet of the southerly 17.45 feet of Lot 11 and the easterly 7 feet of Lots l2, l3, l4 and l5 all in Block liD" of the Subdivision of ViIlleyard Lot D3 as shown on a map recorded in Book 34, page 592 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of Orange County. -1- Bl-20A W" ...~ BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of the County of Orange. ~ THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of March, 1982.
