RESOLUTION NO. 82R-l22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION.

WHEREAS, on December 9th, 1980, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 80R-543 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the
City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association, General
City Employees Unit; and
WHEREAS, on December 9th, 1980, tha City Council adopted
Resolution No. 80R-544 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association,
Clerical Employees Unit; and
WHEREAS, the City Management Repre~entative and the Anaheim
Municipal Employees Association have met and donferred and agreed to
amend both Memorandum of Understanding to provide that employees in
classifications set forth in Appendix A who work the 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
shift at Anaheim Police Department are eligibLe for night shift premium
as provided in Section 6.3 of the Personnel Rules; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding .dated February 25th, 1980,
between the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
that adoption of such a Letter of Understanding is in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated February 25th, 1980,
between the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association
is hereby approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of March
1982.
