A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
ORANGE COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY AND THE
ANAHEIM HOUSING AUTHORITY TO FINANCE AN
APARTMENT PROJECT IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, there is a shortage of safe and sanitary
dwelling accommodations in the City of Anaheim available to
persons of low income at rentals they can afford; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Housing Authority and
the Anaheim Housing Authority are empowered to provide
finance for such apartment projects pursuant to the provi-
sions of Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937,
as amended, through the Secretary of the Department of
Housing and Urban Development of the United States of America;
and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the various parties to
provide for a 64 unit apartment project in the City of Anaheim
has this day been submitted, the terms and conditions thereof
are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the Agreement between the Orange
County Housing Authority, the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim
Housing Authority be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this day of March,
1982.
