A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO RESOLUTION
NO. 74R-235 BY APPROVING REVISION NO. 2 TO
EXHIBIT NO. 5 AND A REVISION TO CONDITION NO.
13.
WHEREAS, the City Council heretofore adopted Resolution
No. 74R-235 in Reclassification Proceedings No. 73-74-36 relating
to the reclassification to the "Pc" (Planned Community) Zone of
certain real property consisting of approximately 137 acres com-
monly known as the Anaheim Shores Planned Community and generally
bounded on the north by the Riverside Freeway, on the south by
La Palma Avenue and on the east by Euclid Avenue in the City of
Anaheim~ and
WHEREAS, the following condition was approved in connec-
tion with Resolution No. 74R-235:
"13. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and specifications on
file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibits Nos. 1, 2
and Revision No. 1 of Exhibits Nos. 3, 4, 5, and 6, pro-
vided, however, that the proposed multiple family apart-
ments be deleted and replaced with condominium or PRD
residential development with a density not to exceed 11.3
dwelling units per acre."
WHEREAS, at the direction of City Council, Planning Staff
has prepared an amendment to the Planned Community resolution for
Anaheim Shores to reflect current land uses approved within the
Anaheim Shores Planned Community~ and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has heretofore conducted
a duly noticed public hearing and adopted its Resolution No.
PC82-57 recommending an amendment to Condition No. 13 of Resolution
No. 74R-235 by approving Revision No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5 thereof~
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff has determined that the pro-
ject was covered under Environmental Impact Report No. 113 which was
previously certified by the City Council in conjunction with
Reclassification No. 73-74-36 and General Plan Amendment No. 130~
and

WHEREAS, the Anaheim City Council did hold a public hear-
ing at the Anaheim Civic Center, Council Chamber, 200 South Anaheim
Boulevard, Anaheim, on April 6, 1982, at 3:00 p.m., notice of said
public hearing having been duly given as required by law and in
accordance with the provisions of the Anaheim Municipal Code, to
hear and consider evidence for and against said amendment and to
investigate and make findings and recommendations in connection
therewith~ and

WHEREAS, the City Council, after due inspection, investiga-
tion and study made by itself at said pUblic hearing, DOES HEREBY FIND:

1. That subsequent to the approval of the original land use
general plan of development approved by City Council Resolution No.
74R-235, certain changes in land use and density have occurred within
the Anaheim Shores Planned Community.
2. That the proposed Revision No.2 of Exhibit No.5 reflects
the existing land uses and densities in the Anaheim Shores Planned
Community.
3. That Condition No. 13 of Resolution No. 74R-235 should be
amended to read as follows:
"13. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans and specifications on
file with the City of Anaheim marked Exhibit Nos. 1, 2,
Revision No.1 of Exhibit Nos. 3, 4 and 6, and Revision
No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5~ provided, however, that the entire
Planned Community density shall not exceed 7.68 dwelling
units per acre, excluding public streets."
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Environmental Impact
Report No. 113 was previously certified by the City Council in con-
junction with Reclassification No. 73-74-36 and General Plan Amendment
No. 130 for the Anaheim Shores Planned Community and no further action
is necessary.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, pursuant to the foregoing find-
ings, the Anaheim City Council does hereby approve an amendment to
Resolution No. 74R-235 to approve Revision No. 2 of Exhibit No. 5
thereof on file in the Planning Department and to amend Condition No.
13 of Resolution No. 74R-235 to read in the manner hereinabove set
forth.
