A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFO~IA
AGREEING TO THE REDISTRIB~ION OF
PROPERTY TAXES IN CONJUNCTION WITH
THE COMMON SPHERE OF INFLUENCE AND
BOUNDARY LINES BETWEEN THE CITY OF
AHAHEIM AND THE CITY OF ORANGE
DESIGNATED AS ORANGE COUNTY
MUNICIPAL REORGANIZATION NO. 108.
WHER~S, Section 99(b)(6) of the Revenue and Taxation
Code requires the adoption of a resolution ~ local agencies
agreeing to the redistribution of property tax revenues prior to
the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission
("~FCO") issuing a certificate of filing for a municipal
reorganization.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That subject Property Tax Transfer Resolution is made
pursuant to the Cortese/Knox Local Government
Reorganization Act of 1985 as set forth in Title 5,
Division 3, Part 3 of the Government Code of the State
of California.
2. That the tax revenues subject to negotiations accruing
to the City of Orange for that territory within the
jurisdiction of the city of Anaheim shall be allocated
in total to the City of Orange in accordance with the
historical allocation of such funds witl~n the city of
Anaheim, as determined by the County Auditor.
3. That the City Clerk shall furnish a copy of this
resolution to the City of Orange, Board of Supervisors,
Executive Officer of ~FCO, and the County Auditor in
satisfaction of the requirements of Section 99(b)(6) of
the Revenue and Taxation Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the city of Anaheim this 18%h day of
