A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE COUNTY OF ORANGE RELATING TO TITLE III
B, C OF THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT OF 1965 FOR THE
PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT FOR THE PROPOSED WEST
ANAHEIM SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, Title III B, C of the Older Americans Act
of 1965 provides certain funds to various public agencies
for use on projects benefiting Senior Citizens; and
WHEREAS, certain Title III B, C funds have been
allocated to the County of Orange Senior Citizens Program
office for distribution and sharing with various other
political subdivisions within the County; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has heretofore appro-
priated a portion of said funds to the City of Anaheim for the
purpose of purchasing equipment for the proposed West Anaheim
Senior Citizen Center at 1800 West Ball Road, Anaheim,
California; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are acceptable to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said Agreement for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11th day of May,
1982.
