A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE ANAHEIM POLICE ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, on December 16, 1980, the City Council approved Resolution
No. 80R -555 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of
Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department Management has consulted with staff
officials of the Anaheim Police Association to discuss administrative
leave; and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, a Letter of Understanding dated
May 13, 1982 between the parties, which delineates the details of the
operation of the administrative leave program, has been prepared and
signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interests of
the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated May 13, 1982 between the
City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Police Association is hereby approved
and adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of May , 1982.
