A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-
ING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES. (R /W #2800 -5)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to sell
and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of CITY DISTRIBUTION SERVICES to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated
in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and more
particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Vineyard Lot G -4, as
shown on a map recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630
of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California, de-
scribed as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Anaheim
Boulevard and Santa .Ana Street; thence S 15 30' 00" E
along said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard, 322.75
feet; thence S 74 25' 00" W, 51.50 feet; thence N 15
30' 00" W, 277.97 feet to the beginning of a curve con-
cave southwesterly and having a radius of 20.00 feet;
thence Northerly and Westerly along said curve through
a central angle of 90 05' 00 ", an arc distance of
31.45 feet; thence N 15 35' 00" W, 24.75 feet to a
point on the centerline of said Santa .Ana Street; thence
N 74 25' 00" E along said centerline 71.57 feet to the
point of beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owner of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 13- 792 - 7101 -E2580
the sum of Forty Six Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($46,800.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of May, 1982.
