A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO FILE FOR A GRANT APPLICATION
FOR PUBLIC TELECOMMUNICATIONS.
WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce of the.United
States has made available certain funds for use by cities
in implementing cost effective institutional cable television
systems and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim does desire to submit
a grant application to the Department of Commerce of the
United States for said funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby authorize the City
Manager to submit an application to the Department of Commerce
of the United States in an amount not to exceed SEVENTY -FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($75,000) to assist the City in implementing
a cost effective public cable television system.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim, this 8th day of
June, 1982.
