A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 63R-910 AS AMENDED BY RESOLUTION NO.
8lR-lSl RELATING TO PERSONNEL R~E 16,
VACATION.

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has r~commended in a staff
report dated August 26, 1981 that certain change~ be made to Personnel
Rule 16, Vacation, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exis~s to amend Resolution
No. 63R-910 as amended by Resolution 81R-lSl, wh~ch established Personnel
Rule 16, Vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of An~heimdoes find that the
recommended change to Personnel Rule 16, Vacation is in the best interests
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that Resolution No. 63R-910 as amended b~ Resolution 81R-ISl be
amended to read as follows:
Section 16.9 Upon termination, an employee shall be compensated in cash
at his current rate of pay for any vacation ~ccrued but not taken,
provided that he has successfully completed thirteen (13) complete
biweekly pay periods of service.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this Resolution
shall be August 14, 1981.
