RESOLUTION NO. 81R-414
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A RATE IN~REASE TO LOZANO
TAXI CAB SERVICE FOR TAXI SERVICE IN THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.

WHEREAS, Lozano Taxi Cab Service did, on the 15th day
of July, 1981, file an application for .n increase in rates for
taxi service in the City of Anaheim: an~
WHEREAS, the 1st day of septe~er, 1981, was fixed for
a public hearing upon said application, :at the hour of 3:00 o'clock
p.m., in the City Council Chamber in th$ Civic Center, in the City
of Anaheim, and the City Clerk did ther,upon give the applicant at
least ten days' written notice of the time and place of such hear-
ing: and
WHEREAS, said application cam$ on regularly for hearing
before the City Council at a regular me~ting on said date and was
duly considered, and the City Council d~es find and determine that
since the present rates were fixed, there have been large increases
in the costs of labor and fringe benefits, workers' compensation
insurance, auto liability insurance, and fuel, and that the appli-
cation for an increase in the rates is reasonable and should be
granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the application of said Lozano Taxi Cab
Service for a new rate schedule as follows, to wit:
$ 1.40 flag for the first 1/6 mile:
$ .20 per each additional 1/6 mile:
$12.00 per hour wating time and traffic delay: and
$ 1.20 Service Charge for cancellation after
dispatch of taxicab,
be, and the same is hereby approved and granted, and that said
rates shal1 apply to. all taxicabs operated by said applicant. That
said rates shall be and remain in full force and effect until the
further order of the City Council.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
