WHEREAS, a petition for the Proposed annexation n
desi- ated
Santa Ana Canyon No. 9 Annexation to the City of Anaheim in the

County of Orange was heretofore filed by the Vista Del Rio Rancho
Hater Company, as chief petitioner, and accepted for filing on
January 26, 1982, by the Executive Officer of Local Agency Formation
Commission of Orange County, California (hereinafter "Commission")
pursuant to Part 2 of Title 4, Division 2, commencing with Section.
35000 et seq, of the Governm Code; and
'7 the distinctive short form designation assigned
by the Commission to the territory proposed to be annexed is: SA14TA
ANA CANYON NO. 9 ANME-XATION TO T jT IF, CITY OF ANAHEMLI; and
1 said territory proposed to be annexed to the City
of Anaheim consists of approximately 67.0592 acres of land located
south of Santa Ana Canyon Road in the vicinity of Eucalyptus Drive,
in tfie County of Orange, and the exterior boundaries thereof are
specifically described in the legal description attaclied hereto,
marked Exhibit "A", and by this reference made a part hereof; and
the Commission has heretofore deterriined in its
Resolution No. 82-16, adopted on February 24, 1912 that the
territory proposed to be annexed is inhabited; and

IIEPEAS, the City Council o the City of Ana"teim has here-
tofore adopted its Resolution 1. , T.o. 82R-200' initiatin,ci, proceedings
nursuant to Section 35220 of the Govern"Ment Code for the annexation
of the hereinabove describecl- territory to the City of Anah-eim; and
411EREAS I T the City Council of the City of Anaheiu. conducted
a duly noticed public hearing on June 8, 1982, and did hear and
receive all oral and written protests, objections, ana evidence r,'tade

presented or filed in opposition to the proposed annexation of the
hereinabove described territory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the City Council does hereby find that written
- protests have been filed and riot vithdrawn by zero percent Of the
registered voters within the territory and by zero percent of the
number of owners of land, who also own zero percent of ti total
assessed value of land within said territory.
2. That the City Council does Dlereby find that written
protests have been filed and not withdrawn by less tnan 25 percent
of the registered voters within the territory and less than 25
percent of the owners of land who o7m less than 25 percent of the
total assessed value of land within the territory.
3. That the City Council does hereby order the annexa-
tion of the hereinabove described territory to the City of Anahei°.'.q
pursuant to Section 35223(c) of the Government Code of the State of
California.
4. That the City Clerk shall file a certified copy of
this Resolution with the Executive Officer of the County of Orange
Local Agency Formation Comission.
THE FOREGOING IZESOLUTION is apT)roved and adopted by the
