A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE
EASEMENT LOCATED ADJACENT TO NORTH PROPERTY
LINE AT 810 NORTH EUCLID STREET.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution dUly adopted, declare its intention to vacate cer-
tain public streets, highways or pu~lic service easements pursuant
to the Public Streets, Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law;
and
WHEREAS, notice of a publilc hearing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in the manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 22nd day olf September, 1981, a public
hearing was held to allow interested! persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or public service easement
hereinafter specifically described i~ unnecessary for present or
prospective public purposes including nonmotorized transportation
facilities.
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for which easements are not re-
served and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenienpe and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby orde~ the vacation of said public
service easement more specifically described as follows:
A portion of that certain 10.00-foot wide easement
for sanitary sewer purposes in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as per deed
to said City of Anaheim recorded in Book 4663, page
261, Miscellaneous Records in the Office of the
Orange County Recorder of said Orange County, de-
scribed as follows:

Beginning at the northwest corner of Parcel 1 as
shown on a map recorded in Book 15, page 17, Parcel
Maps, records of said Orange County; thence N 890
47' 15" E, 171.00 feet to the true point of begin-
ning; thence N 89047' 15" E, 388.14 feet; thence S
00 14' 57" E, 10.00 feet; thence b pqo 47' 15" W,
388.14 feet; thence N 00 15' 52" W, lC.OO feet to
the true point of beginning.

NOTE: The northerly line of Parcel 1 and Parcel
2 of said Parcel Map above, recorded in Book 15,
page 17 also the north line of the North half;
Northwest quarter; Southwest quarter, Northwest
quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South, Range 10
West as described in said deed recorded in Book
4663, page 261 above.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effectite until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed t~ cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in th$ Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange at such time as all of the following condi-
tions precedent to said vacation have been fulfilled:
Installation of a manhole or cleanout at the inter-
section of that portion not beimg abandoned and the
existing sewer lateral which services the property
to the north adjacent to Euclid Street.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of September,
1981.
