A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ADOPTING A LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION, GENERAL
CITY EMPLOYEES UNITS.
WHEREAS, on December 9, 1980, the City Council approved
Resolution No. 80R -543 adopting a Memorandum of Understanding between
the City of Anaheim and the Anaheim Municipal Employees Association,
General City Employees Units; and
WHEREAS, the City Management Representative and the AMEA have
met and conferred and agreed to amend the Memorandum of Understanding,
General City Employees Unit, to provide that employees in the Street
Maintenance Division, Public Works Department assigned to the asphalt
group shall be provided clothing allowance under certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, a Letter of Understanding dated June 8, 1982 between
the parties has been prepared and signed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find
that adoption of said Letter of Understanding is in the best interest
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the Letter of Understanding dated June 8, 1982
between the City of Anaheim and AMEA is hereby approved and adopted.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of June , 1982.
