A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO
AGREEMENT NO. 64050 -E DATED SEPTEMBER 16,
1980, WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA IN CONNEC-
TION WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MULTI -MODAL
TRANSPORTATION TERMINAL IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT.
WHEREAS, the State of California and the City of Anaheim
have heretofore entered into Agreement No. 64050 -E dated September
16, 1980, wherein the State agreed to contribute State SB 283
monies to the City of Anaheim for use in constructing a multi -
modal transportation terminal located adjacent to the Santa Fe
Railroad tracks at Anaheim Stadium; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend said Agreement to
provide for an extension of time for completion of the project to
June 30, 1983; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
previously approved Amendment Nos. 2 and 3 to said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, the State of California Department of
Transportation has requested the City approve a new Amendment No.
2 to extend the completion date of the project to June 30, 1983;
and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 2 to said Agreement has been
prepared by the State of California Department of Transportation,
the terms of which are acceptable to the City Council of the City
of Anaheim.
WHEREAS, said Amendment No. 2 covers the period of June
30, 1981 to June 30, 1983, and will supersede Amendments Nos. 2
and 3 previously approved by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Amendment are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Amendment on
behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anahei this 3rd day of August, 1982.
