A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT
TO MOVE TWO SINGLE FAMILY STRUCTURES TO 1233
AND 1235 NORTH GILBERT STREET IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, Home Modernizers did file a written application
for a house moving permit to move two dwellings from 2338 and 2342
North Broadway, Santa Ana, California, to 1233 and 1235 North
Gilbert Street, Anaheim, California; and
WHEREAS, said application has been set for public hearing
on the 3rd day of August, 1982, at the hour of 3:00 p.m., and notice
of the time and place fixed for said public hearing has been given
by mail at least ten (10) days prior to the date fixed for said hear-
ing to all persons residing within radius of three hundred (300) feet
from the property upon which it is proposed to move said houses, as
the names of such owners appeared upon the last available tax assess-
ment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly for hearing
upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and conducted
and all persons interested therein given an opportunity to be heard,
and the City Council having duly considered said application for a
house moving permit, together with all evidence and reports submitted
in connection therewith, does find that said permit should be granted
for the following reasons:
1. That the houses, buildings or structures proposed to be
moved are comparable in value, size, quality, design and appearance
of houses, buildings or structures in the area into which it is to be
moved; and
2. That it will not be detrimental to, nor diminish the value
of property in the area; and
3. That less than a majority of the property owners in the
area object to the moving of the houses, buildings or structures onto
to property where it is proposed to be moved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the application of Home Modernizers for a house
moving permit to move two dwellings from 2338 and 2342 North Broadway,
Santa Ana, California, to 1233 and 1235 North Gilbert Street, Anaheim,
California, be, and the same is hereby, granted subject to compliance
with all of the provisions of Title 15, Chapter 15.32 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3 d day of Augus 1982.
