A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
LOCATED SOUTH OF LA PALMA AvENuE, EAST OF
LAKEVIEW AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly adopted, declare it~ intention to vacate cer-
tain public streets, highways or publio service easements pursuant
to the Public Streets, Highways and Se~vice Easements Vacation Law;
and
WHEREAS, notice of a public ~earing to consider said
vacation was posted and published in tne manner prescribed by law;
and
WHEREAS, on the 29th day of aeptember, 1981, a public
hearing was held to allow interested p~rsons to submit evidence con-
cerning said proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council do~s find, from the evidence
submitted, that the street, highway or iPublic service easement here-
inafter specifically described in unnedessary for present or prospec-
tive public purposes including nonmotorized transportation facilities;
and
WHEREAS, if and to the extent that there are in place
public utility facilities in use for wQich easements are not re-
served and excepted by this resolution, the City Council hereby
determines that the public convenience and necessity requires that
no easements be reserved for such facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation of that certain
public utility easement more specifically described as follows:

That easement for electrical utility purposes in, on
and over a two foot wide strip of land in the City of
Anaheim as conveyed by deed to the Southern California
Edison Company recorded September 18, 1952 in Book
2385, page 6B offical records, in the Office of the
County Recorder of Orange County over that portion of
the lands allotted to M. Yorba according to a map
attached to and made a part of the decree of partition
of the Rancho Canon De Santa Ana, in said City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, rendered
in Case No. 1978, of the 17th Judicial District Court of
Los Angeles County, California. A certified copy of
which is recorded in Book 28, page 158, deeds of Los
Angeles County, California, described as follows:
The easterly 2.00 feet of parcel 4 of Parcel Map No.
79-267 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, as shown on a map filed in Book 139, page
41 of parcel maps in the Office of the County Recorder
of said county,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the vacation authorized by
this resolution shall not be effective until a certified copy of
this resolution is recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
Orange County.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim tnis 29th day of September,
1981.
