A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
---• ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 80R-548 WHICH
ESTABLISHED RATES OF COMPENSATION FOR CLASSES
REPRESENTED BY THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES
ASSOCIATION, GENERAL CITY EMPLOYEES UNIT.
WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended in a staff
report dated April 2y, 1981 that two new job classifications be created,
and an existing classification be abolished, and
WFdEREAS. as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 80R-548 which established rates of compensation for classes represented
by the Anaheim Municipal .Employees Association, General City Employees Unit,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that the
creation of these classifications and the abolishing of an existing classi-
fication is in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the following job classifications be created and allocated to
the Salary Schedule Master as follows:
Section 1.
That effective May 8, 1981 through October 8„ 1981 inclusive, the basic
compensation plan for all officers any? employees of the City of Anaheim who
are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary
Schedule Master.

Section 2.
That effective October 9, 1981 through October 7, 1982 inclusive the basic
compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who
are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classifications

Salary Schedule Master.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective May 8, 1981 the classification
of Street Painter is abolished.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Resolution
No. 80R-548 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of
