A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT TO EMPLOY GLENN E. STEWART AS
CITY TREASURER AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services of
a qualified temporary City Treasurer for a period of 90 days or
until a permanent appointment of a new City Treasurer is made;
and
WHEREAS, Glenn E. Stewart is qualified to provide the
specialized services required; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has this day been submitted to
the City Council authorizing the employment of Glenn E. Stewart
as City Treasurer on a temporary basis in accordance with
California Government Code Section 21153; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the terms and
conditions of said agreement are satisfactory and that it would
be in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to enter into
said agreement with Glenn E. Stewart.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the Mayor and the City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
