A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 80R-578.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended in a staff report dated
April 28, 1981 that the new classification of Deputy City Manager-Public
Works be created, that the classifications of Assistant City Manager and
Finance Director receive salary adjustments, and that the classif ication
of Public Works Executive Director be abolished, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 80R-578 which established rates of compensation for classif ications
designated as Executive Management, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of .Anaheim does find that
the recommended new classification, salary adjustments and abolishing of
an existing classification are in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that effective July 3, 1981, the basic compensation plan for
all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or
will in the future be employed in the class ificatior~ listed below shall
be allocated to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the classification of Public Works
Executive Director is hereby abolished effective July 3, 1981.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Resolution
No. 80R-578 shall remain in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 12th day of May 1981.
