A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 80R-577 AND
RESOLUTION N0. 80R-550.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended in a staff report dated
April 28, 1981 that the. new classification of Assistant Director for Recre-
ation and Community Services be created and that the existing classification
of Recreation Superintendent be abolished, and that the classification
of Assistant to the City Manager receive a salary adjustment and be moved
from the Staff and Supervisory Management Group to the Administrative Man-
agement Group, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolution
No. 80R-577 which established Administrative Management classifications
and rates of compensation, and to amend Resolution No. 80R-550 which estab-
lished Staff and Supervisory Management classifications and rates of compen-
sation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
the changes described above are in the best interests of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that the following job classification be created and allocated
to the Salary Schedule Master as follows:
That effective July 3, 1981 the basic compensation plan for all officers
and employees of the City of Anaheim who are now employed or will in the
future be employed in the classification listed below shall be allocated
to the following salary schedule in the Salary Schedule Master.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective July 3, 1981 the classi-
fication of Recreation Superintendent is hereby abolished,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective July 3, 1981 Resolution
No. 80R-550 is amended by deleting therefrom the job classification of
Assistant to the City Manager, and Resolution No. 80R-577 is amended by
adding said job classification thereto.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that effective July 3, 1981 the basic
compensation plan for all officers and employees of the City of Anaheim
who are now employed or will in the future be employed in the classification
listed below shall be allocated to the following salary schedule in the
Salary Schedule Master.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Re-
solution No. 80R-577 and Resolution No. 80R-550 shall remain in full force
and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 12th day of May, 1981.
