A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH SOUTHERN
PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION COMPANY FOR THE CITY
INSTALLATION OF A 42" STORM DRAIN BETWEEN
CERRITOS AVENUE AND SUNKIST AVENUE THROUGH THE
PROPERTY OF SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION
COMPANY, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is engaged in a storm
drain project between Cerritos Avenue and Sunkist Avenue in
the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for this project to cross
the property of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company;
and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim covering the
costs of installation of said storm drain on the property of
Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the said Agree-
ment dated the 5th day of February, 1981, between the Southern
Pacific Transportation Company and the City of Anaheim pertain-
ing to the installation of a 42'" storm drain between Cerritos
Avenue and Sunkist Avenue in the City of Anaheim be, and the
same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of
May, 1981.
