A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT DEED CONVEY-

PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of .Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of ELLIS E. MARCUM AND MARLENE J.
MARCUM to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, to be used for an easement for road and public util-
ity purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the easterly 47.00 feet of the south-
erly 50.00 feet of Lot 57 of the Original "Town Lots"
(Building) of Anaheim, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of_ Los
Angeles County, California.
For the purpose of this description, it is assumed that
the easterly line of said Lot 57 is the centerline of
Anaheim Boulevard,
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property; provided, however, that nothing herein shall be construed
to be an acceptance of any parcel or property into the City street
system (Section 1806, Streets and Highways Code).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Accounting Officer of th e
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to issue a warrant
and pay to the owners of said real property, out of General Funds
of the City of Anaheim and charged to Account No. 17-792-7101-E2580,
the sum of Eleven Thousand Dollars ($11,000.00).

City Council of the City of Anaheim this 19th day of May, 1981.
