A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING A HOUSE MOVING PERMIT
TO MOVE A SINGLE FAMILY ST RUCTURE TO 2885
LA JOLLA STREET, IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, T. Ohara Farm did file a written application
.for a house moving permit to move a dwelling from 11222 Santiago
Boulevard, Orange, California, to 2885 La Jolla Street, Anaheim,
California; and
WHEREAS, said application having been set for public
hearing on the 26th day of May, 1981, at the hour of 3:00 o'clock
P.M., and notice of the time and place fixed for said public
hearing having been given by mail to all persons residing within
a radius of three hundred (300) feet from the property upon which
it is proposed to move said house, at least ten (10) days prior
to the date fixed for said hearing, as the names o.f such owners
appeared upon the last available tax assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, said matter having come on regularly f_or hear-
ing upon said date and said hearing having been duly held and
conducted and all persons interested therein given an opportunity
to be heard, and the City Council having duly considered said
application for a house moving permit, together with all evidence
and reports submitted in connection therewith, does find that
said permit should be granted for the following reasons:
1. That the house, building or structure proposed to be
moved is comparable in value, size, quality, design and appearance
of house, buildings or structures in the area into which it is to
be moved; and
2. That it will not be detrimental to, nor diminish the
value of property in the area; and
3. That less than a majority of the property owners in the
area object to the moving of the house, building or structure onto
the property where it is proposed to be moved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the application of T. Ohara Farm for a
house moving permit to move a dwelling from 11222 Santiago
Boulevard, Orange, California, to 2885 La Jolla Street, Anaheim,
California, be, and the same is hereby, granted subject to com-
_ pliance with all of the provisions of Title 15, Chapter 15.32 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code.
