A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM TERMINATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY
""'° OF ANAHEIM AND BAKER AND TAYLO R COMPANY FOR
COMPUTER-MICROFILM (COM) CATALOG AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO ENTER INTO A NEW AGREEMENT
WITH BRO-DART INC. FOR THE SAME SERVICES.
WHEREAS, on July 15, 1980, the City of Anaheim
entered into an Agreement with the Baker and Taylo-r Company
for the production of a LIBRIS/Computer-Output-Microfilm
(COM) catalog; and
WHEREAS, said Agreement was to terminate one year
from date of notification of acceptance of agreement by the
Baker and Taylor Company; and
WHEREAS, by mutual agreement by the parties,
effective February 17, 1981, the LIBRIS/COM Services Agreement
is to terminate; and
WHEREAS, the second bidder for the COM Catalog,
Bro-Dart Inc., is able to provide the services at the same
cost to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that said Baker and Taylor Company
agreement is hereby terminated effective February 17, 1981.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an Agreement between
the City of Anaheim and Bro-Dart Inc. be, and the same is
hereby, approved to provide the same services for the library
for the production of the LIBRIS/Computer-Output-Microfilm
(COM) catalog, effective February 17, 1981.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 2nd day of
June, 19.81.
