1981-264RESOLUTION NO . $1R- 264 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING FEE SCHEDULES FOR LAND USE APPLICATIONS AND APPEALS. WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore established various fee schedules for the filing of certain land use applica- tions and appeals for the express purpose of defraying the cost and expense to the City of postage, posting, advertising and other direct and indirect costs of materials and labor necessary to pro- cess land use applications and appeals; and WHEREAS, due to increases in City costs, it is in the public interest and welfare to amend said fees at the current time; and WHEREAS, said fees, in the amounts hereinafter set forth, are hereby found and determined to be equal to, or no greater than, the direct and indirect costs and expenses incurred by the City in processing said applications and appeals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the following fee schedules be, and the same are hereby, adopted, effective July 1, 1981: 1. Reclassifications: (a) A fee of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($450.00) plus Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per acre shall be paid upon the filing of each application for a zoning reclassification. (b) Where the zone change or reclassification requires the preparation and reading of more than one ordinance, a fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) shall be paid at the time of filing for such zone change or reclassification. 2. Subdivisions: (Tentative Maps) Upon the filing of a tentative map with the City for approval, applicant shall pay a fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00), plus Ten Dollars ($10.00) per lettered or numbered lot to the City of Anaheim. The filing for a tenta- tive map for a condominium project shall be Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00) plus Ten Dollars ($10.00) per dwelling unit and common lot(s). -1- 3. Conditional Use Permits: (a) A fee of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) shall be paid upon the filing of each application for a conditional use permit not involving a planned residential development, mobile- home or travel trailer park. (b) A fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00) plus Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per acre shall be paid upon the filing of each application for a conditional use permit for a planned residential development, mobilehome or travel trailer park. 4. Variances: (a) A fee of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) shall be paid upon the filing of an application for a variance involving signs, billboards, yards and minor modifications on a single lot or parcel of land. (b) A fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350.00) plus Twenty Dollars ($20.00) per acre s'nall be paid upon the filing of each application for a variance involving density and modifications for large residential developments and subdivisions (more than four units). 5. Negative Declarations: A fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) shall be paid upon the filing of each initial study for a negative declaration. 6. Environmental Impact Reports: A fee of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) shall be paid for the processing of any draft environmental impact report, certification of which is required by the City of Anaheim, or any Council, Commission, officer, employee or agency thereof. 7. General Plan Amendments: A fee of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($450.00) plus Twenty Dollars ($20.00) for each acre of property, or portion thereof, in excess of one (1) acre shall be paid upon the filing of each application for a general plan amendment. 8.
