A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE .CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 76R-473
TO INCREASE THE AMOUNT TO $5,000.00 OR LESS
FOR ANY ALLOWANCE, COMPROMISE OR SETTLEMENT
OF CLAIMS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
adopt its Resolution No. 76R-473 on the 10th day of August, 1976,
which authorized the City Attorney to allow, compromise or settle
claims against the City if the amount to be paid by the City was
$1,000.00 or less; and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City
to amend said Resolution No. 76R-473 by increasing the amount to
be paid to $5,000.00 or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 76R-473
adopted on the 10th day of August, 1976, be, and the same is hereby,
amended to increase the amount to $5,000.00 or less for any allowance,
compromise or settlement of claims against the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th d~--~f June, 1981.
